Hey Donohoo Music School family!
Last week I published my first childrens book! If you didn't see it, go check it out!
The Tall Tale of the Ear of Corn is a book about music, truth telling and friendship. I love the way it turned out! I have to be honest... holding your own book is a magical feeling. I felt so proud of myself when I got my proof in the mail.
Writing books has been part of my plans for a long time. But, I never felt able to take that step until last week.
This week I finished editing the book that started it all. I Ate Jonah.
I Ate Jonah is a musical tale about the whale from the story of Jonah and the Whale. It is based on basic music education principles to help your child start learning to use their singing voice! It will be published on Sunday, August 24th 2025.
The original story made it onto youtube years and years ago! This video makes me smile every time!
