Music education was my career path from a young age, and today I am proud to say I am an experienced elementary music classroom teacher as well as private lesson tutor. Music has been a lifeline for me over the years; many times have I had to sit down and let out emotions on my piano. (If my Yamaha from when I was a teen could talk...) I think music is one of the most beneficial things to learn. It is great for cognitive function and over all good habit building as well as a great tool for social and emotional learning. Music brings us together in ways that words cannot.

My goal is to create a warm and inviting music learning environment. My job is to take you one step at a time through the journey of music education.

Music is deeply connected to us as human beings and to the earth. I like to think of a good session as musical grounding.

I am a Christian. I write books based on bible animals, using elementary music methods to teach various concepts. I also have music resources available learning based on nature and the parallels between music and the earth.

I travel around the US and study musical cultures and history and apply them to the basic methods of teaching music.
